| Athena Fatale |
"I've always identified with strong women throughout history as well as in literature and movies. "I was particularly drawn to the images of the stiletto-clad seductress with a knife or gun stashed in her garter. What man can resist her temptations? "Beauty is a weapon, and men weaken in its presence. "My favorite femme fatale would have to be Nikita from La Femme Nikita. (The original French version starring Anne Parillaud, not the TV series or the bad American remake.) I still remember seeing the poster, NIkita slouching behind a corner in a slinky black dress and holding a huge smoking gun. I had to see that movie! It's still one of my all time favorites. I even have a quote on my website that is inspired by a line in the movie: " 'There are two things that are infinite: femininity and means to take advantage of it.' That scene, where Nikita first learns that her beauty can be as deadly as her aim, was pure inspiration."
